Huh? Wha? Anyway, You Got a Light?

Smoking associated with lower IQ, study finds:

"Smokers often say that smoking a cigarette helps them concentrate and feel more alert. But years of tobacco use may have the opposite effect, dimming the speed and accuracy of a person's thinking ability and bringing down their IQ, according to a new study led by University of Michigan researchers..."

This is only a preliminary study needing corroboration, but...

Below is a link to an article about a German brewing company that is adding nicotine to its beer. It will be marketed to people trying to quit smoking and in places that have banned public smoking. Talk about "killing two birds with one stone."

Yikes. Guess lung cancer will be down and cirrhosis induced liver cancer will be way up. Great, more competition for already scarce cadaver livers. Maybe the directors of the company will donate theirs to any of their customers who get so strung out they drink their livers into oblivion.
